Dr. David Freeman, OD was born and raised in Winston-Salem. Dr. Freeman attended and graduated from Wingate College for his undergraduate studies. He then went on to Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, to graduate with his Doctor of Optometry.
Dr. Freeman and has been providing primary vision care in the Walkertown, North Carolina community for over 30 years. Dr. Freeman served in the United States Navy as a staff optometrist at Naval Regional Medical Center in San Diego, California. He enjoys the diagnosis and treating of ocular disease and providing quality eyewear and contact lenses to his patients. He is the former President of the Winston-Salem District of the North Carolina Optometric Society, and a 30-year member of the American Optometric Association.
When Dr. Freeman isn't in the office, he enjoys golf and snow skiing. He is currently accepting new patients seeking eye care in Walkertown, NC at eyecarecenter.
