Dr. Van M. Teague, OD, received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Berry College in 1976. He then moved to Memphis to attend Southern College of Optometry where he graduated with a Doctor of Optometry degree in 1981. Soon after graduating, he and his wife moved to Savannah, GA for three years to practice optometry in the US Army at Ft. Stewart.
After a year practicing in Salisbury with Southern College of Optometry classmate Dr. Rick Bartlett, Dr. Teague moved back to the Winston-Salem area to open eyecarecenter in December of 1985. His son is an optometrist practicing in Asheville and his daughter has an administrative position with a large national eye care group.
Dr. Teague looks forward to provide eye care in Winston-Salem and is currently accepting new patients.
