Zophia Rendon, OD, is a board-certified optometrist in North Wilkesboro, NC. Dr. Rendon attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, where she was class president and graduated with honors. She completed her optometric residency in primary eye care and ocular disease at the William G. (Bill) Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury, NC before joining eyecarecenter in North Wilkesboro, NC.
Dr. Rendon practices primary eye care with a concentration on macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma, all of which are common in the local population. In 2019, she started an assistance program at eyecarecenter for doctors taking the challenging North Carolina state optometry licensure exam. Through this program, she hopes to increase availability of quality eye care to North Carolinians.
